Santosh Kumar Mishra

Born in a village Karnamepur in the Bhojpur district of Bihar (India) in 1963, obtained postgraduate degree in Economics from Magadh University, Bodh Gaya situated in the State of Bihar in India. Joined the Secretariat of Lok Sabha (House of the people) in the Parliament of India in the year 1988, area of activity while serving in the Lok Sabha Secretariat for over three decades included Administrative and Establishment matters, Planning and Organization of National and International Conferences, Seminars and Functions involving high level National and International Dignitaries, including Heads of State, Heads of Government, Ministers, top bureaucrats and senior functionaries of National and International Institutions, Editing, Translation and Publication of Parliamentary Papers where worked as Assistant Editor, Editor, Joint Director and Director in succession. Served as Second Secretary (Hindi & amp; Culture) in the High Commission of India in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago (West Indies) under Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India from 2007 – 2009. Also served as the Acting Director of Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Cultural Co-operation (MGICC) under Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in Trinidad and Tobago while serving as Second Secretary (Hindi & amp; Culture) there. Served as Director of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre at High Commission of India in Suva, Fiji under the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India from 2019-2021. Keen interest in studying Indian and World Culture, Hindi, Sanskrit, other Indian languages and literature. Presently active in promotion of Indian Culture, Traditions, Heritage and Hindi across the globe through participation in various programs & amp; activities.
Madam Veer Mala Singh Prakash
Madam Veer Mala Singh Prakash is the Spouse of High Commissioner of Fiji to India and is a fourth generation Indo-Fijian.
She is former English Teacher from Fiji having also taught English to Japanese students while living in Japan for 10 years as well as a Writer. Madam Prakash also served as the President of the Asia-Pacific Diplomatic Ladies Association in Abu Dhabi, UAE from 2019 to 2020, and served in the Executive Committee of the big group of Diplomatic Spouses of Ambassador’s Group as well. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Management as well as a Master of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy from Fijian universities. She was also a recipient of Visiting Scholar Fellowship scholarship to Shanghai Institute of International Studies in China. She takes keen interest in contemporary developments relating to Indian diaspora abroad, especially the decedents of Girmitiyas.
