Girmitiya Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to social welfare, education, women empowerment, cultural preservation, and child development. As part of our fundraising activities, we may receive donations, sponsorships, or voluntary contributions through our website.
This Shipping / Delivery Policy explains how we deliver acknowledgments, donor receipts, and any physical or digital items (if applicable) to our contributors.
1. No Physical Shipping for General Donations
For all general donations made on our website:
No physical products are shipped to donors.
All contributions are voluntary and not linked to the purchase of goods.
Donors will receive:
A digital donation acknowledgment
A soft copy (PDF) donation receipt
Email/SMS confirmation
All donation documents are delivered electronically to the donor’s email/mobile number.
2. Delivery of Donation Receipts
Donation receipts are sent via email within 24–48 hours after successful payment.
In rare cases, due to bank verification delays, delivery may take 3–5 working days.
Donors who do not receive their receipt may contact us for assistance.
3. Physical Shipments (If Applicable Later)
If Girmitiya Foundation provides physical materials in the future (certificates, books, cultural literature, event merchandise):
Items will be dispatched within 7–10 working days.
Tracking details will be provided, if applicable.
Delivery timelines vary based on courier service and destination.
Currently, no physical items are being shipped. This clause is included to maintain compliance for future activities.
4. Delivery Address Requirements
If physical deliveries are introduced later, donors/sponsors must provide accurate and complete addresses.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by:
Incorrect or incomplete address
Recipient not available
Courier restrictions or delays
5. International Delivery
If international shipping is introduced later, separate timelines, charges, and requirements will be communicated directly to the donor.
