Girmitiya Foundation works to ensure that children and youth, especially from disadvantaged backgrounds, have access to quality education and skill-based opportunities. Our programs focus on bridging the gap between learning and livelihood by offering academic support, vocational training, and mentorship. We encourage lifelong learning and practical skills that help individuals secure employment and lead independent lives. Education gives power to change one’s circumstances — and through our initiatives, we’re helping individuals discover their potential.

Objectives

To promote quality education and lifelong learning in rural and urban areas.

Key Initiatives

Skill Training Centres: Providing training in tailoring, computer education, and small business management.
School Assistance: Donating learning kits, improving classroom infrastructure, and supporting teachers.
Scholarships and Mentorship: Assisting deserving students to pursue higher education.
Digital Learning Workshops: Promoting computer literacy among youth and women in rural areas.

Impact

Hundreds of students and youth have benefitted from our education and skill programs. Many have started small ventures, found stable jobs, or continued their education with confidence. Our goal is to ensure that every child and youth has the tools, knowledge, and confidence to build a brighter future for themselves and their community.

GIRMITIYA FOUNDATION is an NGO in India, Helping Girmitiyas family, Who are searching their Ancestors Roots/ Birth Place/ Village in India. Foundation is working also in Education, Women empowerment, Skilled and Promote Indian traditional culture field.
